Virtual Future of the Incident Management Team lessons learned from the 2021 California Pipeline case about remote capabilities.
DescriptionThe United States Coast Guard has newly established a Marine Environmental Response Regional Activities Center in Honolulu Hawaii. With the primary mission of conducting subject matter expert exchanges with trusted partner nations within the Indo-Pacific. The unit provides Contingency Planning and pollution spill response expertise to other nations, helping to bolster the abilities of all nations to have National Contingency and spill response plans which meet their needs in the event pf a catastrophic discharge or natural disaster. The unit consists of a team of six Coast Guard spill response experts devoted conducting exchanges and workshops with other nations to enhance international spill response capabilities.
