Mr. Michael Mbaru is a Marine Scientist with solid years of experience in developing and monitoring marine environment conservation programs, policies and procedures to ensure the protection of the marine environment for sustainable maritime development in the country. Mr. Mbaru is currently working as a Senior Marine Environment Officer with the Kenya Maritime Authority where he is in-charge of implementing marine environment protection obligations under national and international law.
