Sam has been immersed in the oiled wildlife response world since 2013. Prior to joining the Oiled Wildlife Care Network in 2019, she worked in wildlife rehabilitation centers in Idaho, Hawaii, and Delaware. She has responded to oil-affected wildlife in eight states and has participated in drills and given trainings in many more.
