Vivi holds a B.S. in Oceanography as well as an M.Sc. from FURG in Brazil. She obtained her PhD in South Africa at the Percy FitzPatrick - Centre of Excellence at UCT, where she studied the foraging ecology of seabirds (albatroz, petrels, gannets, and penguins) using stable isotope analysis. She has been working at Aiuká since 2015, attending emergencies and drills, as well as dealing with preparedness, planning, and training. Her current position is wildlife project coordinator.
