After acquiring her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and Masters of Preventive Veterinary Medicine degrees at UC Davis, Lorraine completed veterinary internships in both small animal and marine mammal medicine. She then worked clinically in a variety of small animal and wildlife centers, before joining the Oiled Wildlife Care Network in 2018. Lorraine is a Diplomat of the American College of Preventive Veterinary Medicine.
