Biography
Paul L. Pennington, Ph.D. – Research Environmental Scientist – NOAA/ NOS/NCCOS --
Dr. Pennington received his BS in Biology in 1991 and a MS degree in Marine Biology in 1996 from the College of Charleston. He completed a PhD in Environmental Health Sciences through the University of South Carolina’s Arnold School of Public Health in 2002. From 2003 until 2010, Paul worked for JHT, Inc. (a contractor to NOAA). He currently works for NOAA as a Research Environmental Scientist in the Stressor Detection and Impacts Division of NCCOS researching oil spills and chemical contaminants in estuaries.
