David Du Pont is a Regulatory Development Manager at the U.S. Coast Guard Headquarters in Washington, DC. His work includes the development of national and international marine safety, security and environmental protection standards. He previously served for 20-years as a Coast Guard officer, with shipboard, pollution response and marine inspection assignments spanning from San Juan, Puerto Rico, New Orleans, Louisiana, and Long Beach, CA, to Honolulu, Hawaii, and Singapore. Dave holds a B.S. in Marine Science from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy and a Master of Marine Affairs from the University of Washington.
