Nicky is a qualified wildlife biologist with years of experience in the NPO sector focusing on the conservation of endangered seabirds in Southern Africa. She joined SANCCOB in 2011 as the Rehabilitation Manager before moving to the role of Preparedness and Response Manager and finally Head of Conservation in 2021. She has extensive experience in oiled seabird rehabilitation and is SANCCOB’s first representative for GOWRS an international oiled wildlife response group.
