Biography
Dr. Yang Song is a hydrodynamic scientist at the University of Michigan. His research interests revolve around water environment modeling and restoration, including hydrodynamics, water quality, algal blooms, and oil spill transport. Currently, his primary work involves collaborating with scientists at NOAA GLERL to advance the understanding of oil spill processes in the Great Lakes. Before joining UM, he focused on using numerical tools to address issues about algal blooms in reservoirs.
