Alex Hunt is a chartered marine biologist with a master’s degree in tropical coastal management and a background in marine resource damage assessment work. In his 20 year career at ITOPF he has provided technical advice on-site at over 30 ship-sourced incidents in 25 countries and all seven continents. As the Technical Team Manager for the Asia-Pacific Region he has responsibility for ITOPF's preparedness projects, advisory work, and stakeholder engagement within this region.
