David joined ITOPF in November 2014 and holds a BSc in Marine Biology and an MSc in Tropical Coastal Management. Since joining ITOPF David has attended numerous global incidents dealing with oils, other pollutants, and issues including fisheries, tourism and environmental assessment. Significant cases include SANCHI, SOLOMON TRADER, X-PRESS PEARL and PRINCESS EMPRESS. He heads ITOPF’s ESG Development Group and in 2023 was seconded to ITOPF’s inaugural satellite office in Singapore.
