Mr. Nixon specializes in bringing analytical rigor to emergency response, damage assessment, remediation and restoration via the use of data science and machine learning techniques, remote sensing, geostatistics, and applied spatial and quantitative analysis. With over 25 years of experience, he has worked as part of the response or assessment for multiple large incidents, and on remediation and restoration projects on behalf of resource trustees nationally and globally, including across the US, Latin America, and the Middle East. Mr. Nixon has authored or co-authored over 50 peer-reviewed publications and technical reports.
