Ashley Sandquist graduated from the United States Coast Guard Academy in 2020 with a degree in Marine and Environmental Science. She then served in the U.S. Coast Guard for 2.5 years as an Emergency Management Specialist where she helped maintain the Northwest Area Contingency Plan and was assigned to the Incident Management Team. She now works at Washington State Department of Ecology as a spill responder and loves getting her hands dirty out on field responses.
