Shannon has worked in the oil spill response business for over 25 years. She was a Navigation Officer in Newfoundland and Labrador and sailed on icebreakers in the Canadian Arctic. She has worked with the Response Organization ECRC, operated her own oil spill consulting business based in Nova Scotia, and subsequently formed TRIOX with her partners in 2011. Shannon has been involved in several responses over the last 25 years across Canada, the USA, Bahamas and Peru.
