Kyra has a B.S. degree in Systematics and Ecology from the University of Kansas. In 1996 she earned her Masters degree from the University of California Irvine. Before joining the Oiled Wildlife Care Network in 2010 she was a member of the biology faculty at the University of New Mexico. Kyra’s current position is as Wildlife Biologist within the Wildlife Operations group at the Oiled Wildlife Care Network.
