Dr. Palace is the Head Research Scientist at the IISD-Experimental Lakes Area with >25 years as an aquatic toxicologist examining chemical aquatic stressors. He has co-authored >125 papers in the peer-reviewed literature and led the Freshwater Oil Spill Remediation Study (FOReSt) and the Floating Wetlands to Enhance Remediation of Oil Spills (FLOWTER) which examined the ecological effects and remediation of crude oil spills in lentic freshwater environments using minimally invasive methods.
