Marc Rudder
Biography
Mr. Marc Rudder is currently a Deputy Permanent Secretary (Ag.) with the substantive position of Chief Technical Officer at the Ministry of Energy and Energy Industries (MEEI), Government of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago (GoRTT). He has been working at the MEEI for over 25 years. He has been in his current role since 2023. For the past 5 years he was the Petroleum Operations Director. In this role his focus was on the regulation of the Energy Sector of Trinidad and Tobago in the areas related to measurement, rigs, offshore platforms, pipelines, gathering stations, service stations, petrochemical plants operations, and disaster and environmental management and National Oil Spill response. Currently his role encompasses all technical matters related to the Energy Sector.
Mr. Rudder is a graduate of the University of the West Indies, St Augustine, Trinidad and Tobago with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physics and a Master of Science Degree in Petroleum Engineering and a Master of Science in Engineering in Geography and Environmental Engineering from the Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, Maryland, USA.
